Bio
Dr. Yaakov Abdelhak is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and fellowship-trained maternal-fetal medicine specialist. He attended SUNY Downstate Medical School, completed his OB-GYN residency at Maimonides Medical Center, and completed a maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at NYU. He founded his private practice in 2002. His areas of focus include high-risk pregnancy, diabetes and hypertension during pregnancy, severe hyperemesis, recurrent miscarriage, multiple gestation, pregnancy after 40, cervical cerclage, amniocentesis, CVS, external cephalic version, VBAC, vaginal twin birth, and selected vaginal breech deliveries.
