“Maybe your mind never seems to shut off. You replay conversations, overthink decisions, need things to feel "just right," or get stuck seeking reassurance and certainty. Or maybe you're a parent watching your child or teen struggle with anxiety, OCD, ADHD, perfectionism, body image, eating concerns, or overwhelming emotions, and you're not sure how to help.”
-Nicole Ivelevitch Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW, CYMHS, CMNCS, C-DBT
“Are you tired of holding it all together? All your life, you’ve had to be the best, do the best, and rise above your family trauma. At first, the load wasn’t that heavy. But now you’re not sure how much longer you can be the one everyone counts on. You’re exhausted by the pursuit of perfection. And for once you’d like permission to underachieve. To everyone else, you seem confident, successful, and put together. But they don’t know you’re struggling to keep yourself from crumbling to pieces. If it feels like too much, it’s because it is too much. You shouldn’t have to live every day holding on for dear life.”
-Sara Schreiber Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW, CGP
